Job summary

A leading environmental consultancy in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant to drive project development and perform land investigations. The ideal candidate will possess a related degree and experience in ground investigations, geotechnical reporting, and UK legislation pertaining to contaminated land. Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of ground investigation and geo-environmental sector.
  • Experience in producing geotechnical interpretative reports.
  • Knowledge of UK contaminated land and geotechnical legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out site walkovers and prepare Phase I Desk Studies.
  • Supervise ground investigations and log samples to BS5930 standards.
  • Conduct gas and groundwater monitoring including sampling.

Skills

Ground investigation understanding
Health, Safety and Environmental legislation knowledge
Geotechnical reporting experience

Education

Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering
