Job description

A leading Cornwall GP practice now has opportunities for a qualified General Practitioner to join their team.

The practice operates within a beautiful, predominantly rural area in south-east Cornwall, serving over 15,000 patients from two modern, purpose-built health centres (with services all rated “Good” by the CQC), complete with dispensary services and the practice’s own pharmacy.

The team itself is extensive, encompassing medical, nursing, allied health and associated practitioners who deliver excellent patient care with the aid of exceptional administrative support staff and a strong business/systems management core.

In addition, the practice is an approved training practice and supports a number of trainees at any one time.

We are therefore looking for a highly competent GP who can demonstrate a commitment to team‑based, collaborative working, a professional and patient‑centred approach, and a real passion for providing an outstanding quality of care.

In return, the practice can offer you a fantastic opportunity to develop your medical career in a highly supportive environment, including protected study leave and supported career development in practice.

This is a permanent salaried General Practitioner position.
