General Labourer / Semi skilled Fitter / General Operative

We have exciting new permanent opportunities working as a General Operative / Semi skilled Fitter / General Labourer for one of our key transportation clients based in Oxfordshire.

The role involves working days and lates on a 2 week rotation Monday to Friday and comes with a basic salary of £24,126 pa / £12.61 ph PAYE and an 8% uplift on lates.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools associated with the manufacturing process.
• Responsible for compliance with the company's health & safety policy and procedures.
• Deep cleaning of buses throughout inbound and outbound.
• Using power tools to assist the Assembly Operatives with removal of seats and poles.
• Assisting in refitting of the seats and poles.

Experience Required

• Relevant experience of using hand and power tools.
• Ability to get stuck in and work with your hands.
• Ability to follow work instructions.
• Willing to undertake or provide training as required.
• An awareness of general health and safety rules.
