Temporary General Assistant – Contract Catering

Temporary General assistant roles in contract means working at a variety of client sites (corporate offices, events, colleges and venues). The role focuses on providing essential support to the catering team.

What the role involves:

• Locations: Corporate Buildings, Events, In-House / Contract Catering sites.
• Duties: Operating tills and handling cash (training usually provided), Serving and dishing up food to customers/staff, Ensuring that service areas maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety, Assisting with stock management, replenishment and deliveries.
• Contract Type: Flexible, Temporary with opportunity for ongoing work.
• Key Benefits: Competitive Hourly rates with weekly pay (£13-£14 per hour in London) with weekly pay.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Assistant / Front of house with at least one year’s experience in the UK
• Full Uniform: Black and white shirt, black trousers, smart black shoes
• Level 2 Food Safety and Allergen Awareness certificates (must-have, if you do not hold we can provide free training to receive this).
• The ability to follow instructions and always remain professional.
• A strong work ethic, with the ability to keep busy.
