Job summary

A national heating services contractor is seeking an experienced heating engineer to perform Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs. This role offers flexible working with a commitment of at least 3 days per week and pays weekly. Successful candidates must have ACS qualifications, Gas Safe registration, and a clean DBS check. Long-term ongoing contracts are available with all necessary PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer.
• Required ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires).
• Gas Safe Registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs.
• Ensure safety compliance during repairs and checks.
• Work efficiently within a defined geographical area.

Skills

Qualified heating engineer experience

Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

Job description

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

Contract Details

• Location: Birmingham, Coventry or Leicester
• Contract: Midland Heart Housing Association
• Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs
• Commitment: Ideally 5 days per week - Minimum of set 3 days per week
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.

Rates

• £23.48 per landlord gas safety check
• £30.44 per completed repair

• £2m Public Liability Insurance
• No unspent criminal convictions
