Future Entrepreneur Wanted – Commission-Based Sales Opportunity (With Potential Business Takeover)

Can you sell an idea to the public? Are you entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and looking for a proven product with real-world demand?

In 2005, after working as a parcel delivery driver and seeing first‑hand how many deliveries failed because customers were not at home, I developed a secure, lockable parcel delivery box that allows couriers to safely deposit parcels even when no one is in. The access code is provided on the delivery slip, ensuring security and convenience.

The product works — customers who bought the box confirmed it performs extremely well. I installed one at my own home 20 years ago, and it still looks as good as new today. To date, no Parcelkeep box has ever been broken into or lost a parcel.

Unlike many competitors’ boxes, which are made from steel and prone to rust, Parcelkeep boxes are made from the same material used for riot shields — lightweight, weatherproof, rust‑free, and easy to transport and install.

I manufactured an initial batch of 500 units but became fully involved in another business that required my attention. Despite strong interest — including near‑miss orders of up to 10,000 units and positive feedback from Royal Mail — the business never reached its full potential. Today, with online shopping at an all‑time high, the opportunity is stronger than ever.

Interestingly, older customers and non‑internet users consistently see the value immediately, suggesting untapped markets such as demonstrations to organisations like the WI, community groups, and local clubs.
