Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Funeral Arranger for a part-time role (20 hours per week). The post offers £13.47 per hour plus benefits, with duties including arranging family visits, coordinating clients, and ensuring the funeral home is welcoming and compliant with health and safety standards.

You will work with digital systems for client documentation and invoicing, support with manual handling of coffins, and build relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills with clients and colleagues in writing and verbally.
• Ability to confidently work with numbers, handle cash, apply discounts, and data entry.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure regulatory policies are followed.
• Good IT skills across devices and systems and willingness to learn new apps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and by phone, arranging visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
