Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is hiring a Funeral Arranger in Salisbury. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) with salary (£26,266) and benefits, located in Salisbury. No prior funeral industry experience is required as full training is provided.

Typical duties include preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased, maintaining professionalism, dignity and health and safety standards. You’ll also support families and manage client documentation using digital systems.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with clients and colleagues is essential.
• Ability to handle cash, discounts, and simple data entry accurately.
• Good eye for detail, and adherence to regulatory processes.
• Proficient with common devices and software used to manage client records.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and on the phone with family visits and questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming, reporting maintenance needs.
