The Co-operative Group is hiring a Funeral Arranger in Colchester. This full-time role (37.5 hours, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm) involves supporting families, arranging visits, and maintaining a respectful, welcoming funeral home environment.

You will work with digital systems to manage client documentation and invoicing, while complying with health and safety standards. No prior funeral industry experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Good communication skills, with clear written and verbal abilities.
• Ability to handle numbers and perform basic calculations, cash handling, discounts and data entry.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming, reporting maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work, such as selling funerals plans, to Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care of the deceased (training provided).
• Update client management applications with accurate information.
