Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is hiring a Mobile Funeral Arranger in Earlsfield, London. Part-time 18.75 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Role involves sensitive duties including preparation and care of the deceased with full training provided.

Salary £13.47 per hour plus benefits; covers multiple local areas. You’ll join a friendly team and support families with dignity and respect. Full training and ongoing support are provided, along with a competitive salary and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong numeracy with cash handling and simple invoicing.
• Eye for detail and accuracy, adherence to regulations.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new apps and systems.
• Passion for delivering great service and building relationships.
• Empathy, discretion and care in handling sensitive duties.
• Ability to perform physical elements, e.g., moving coffins with training.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and on the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming, and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work (funeral plans) to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care/prep of the deceased.
• Update client management applications with accurate, timely information.
