A regional health service provider is seeking a Fundraising Manager to enhance its charity fundraising programme. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen and diversify income sources through donations and community engagement. As Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in delivering Dorset County Hospital Charity's fundraising programme, as part of a small, collaborative team raising funds from a range of sources including events, challenges, corporate, grants, community fundraisers, and individual giving.
The post-holder will have a clear vision for implementing fundraising plans to develop current and new income streams, and maximize the effectiveness of established fundraising methods. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to retain current supporters and acquire new ones, as well as providing excellent stewardship for donors and fundraisers. Key duties involve raising significant income in line with business plan targets, building strong relationships with the Trust Board, Executive team, Charitable Funds Committee, hospital staff, donors, and supporters. The role also requires delivering a compelling case for support and maintaining a high profile for Dorset County Hospital Charity within the organization and the wider community.
