Job description

Were recruiting for a Fund Accountant to join us on a 12 month FTC. Were offering a competitive base salary.

This FTC offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fund accounting reporting cycles and system development. Youll be part of a collaborative team supporting the transition to a new operating model contributing to testing validation and process improvement.

What youll be doing :

• Supporting the transition to a new Strategic Target Operating Model (STOM)
• Designing and executing testing schedules for new outputs and reports
• Investigating and documenting test failures and proposing solutions
• Providing technical support on complex fund accounting areas including IFRS9 and repos
• Engaging with internal and external clients to understand and meet evolving requirements
• Maintaining robust controls and accurate documentation across team functions
• Collaborating with colleagues across Fund Accounting Valuations and Investment Operations
• Integrating quickly into the team and developing a strong understanding of the current operating model

Qualifications :

• Understanding of fund accounting principles and reporting cycles
• Experience with financial instruments and accounting treatments (e.g. IFRS9 repos)
