Overview

The Internal Technology Team plays a pivotal role in Softcat’s success, sustaining reliable, scalable, and flexible systems that power our growth. We collaborate with a growing network of vendors, partners, and stakeholders. We seek an experienced NetSuite SuiteTax Functional Consultant to lead ongoing management and implementation of the platform, working closely with the System Integrator to gather and analyze requirements, provide guidance on design decisions, ensure quality, and support solution evolution. The ideal candidate will have deep SuiteTax and e‑invoicing knowledge, strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and experience in requirement gathering, process optimisation, IT change management, and a finance domain.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of platform design to support optimal delivery of the relevant business policies and processes whilst maintaining alignment with best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
• Advice and support for optimal use of the platform to deliver business outcomes.
• Product configuration and maintenance of workbooks.
• Management of configuration through environments, ensuring communication and alignment with other workstreams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance and tax business processes and best practice.
• Deep understanding of NetSuite SuiteTax modules and configuration experience.
• Good understanding of e‑invoicing modules.
• Relevant certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in implementations or a support capacity.
• Experience of data conversion and integration between systems.
