Overview

Full time Mother’s help / Housekeeper role near Tadley, RG26. This family are looking for a Mother’s help to support them with the children and around the home, whilst dad is at work. They have a 2.5 year old girl and a baby due in December. The role is Monday to Friday 12 noon to 8pm with flexibility on the finish time; overtime is paid for later finishes. This is a shared care role, with times when the nanny will work sole charge caring for their daughter and watching the baby while mum naps.

Responsibilities

• Nursery pick-up (short walk away).
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the family.
• Help settle their daughter for her nap and bedtime (the family follow a child-led, gentle approach).
• Carry out all usual nursery duties and create age-appropriate activities to keep the little girl entertained after nursery in the afternoons.
• Tidying and full cleaning of the house.

About the children

The little girl enjoys playing with toys, reading, music, swimming in the indoor pool, puddle walks and exploring the large garden in the countryside.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Paediatric first aid.
• Ideally a formal childcare qualification or suitable experience and knowledge of the EYFS.
• Driving required, with own car.

Job Details

• Location: Baughurst, Hampshire, RG26.
• Hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week; finish time flexible within reason.
• Start Date: 3 November.
• Pay: Up to £18 gross per hour; Up to £37,440 gross per annum; plus paid overtime for later finishes.
• Job Type: Permanent.
