Job description

Role: Full Stack Developer – Python
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote – mostly. With travel to UK client sites as required.
Rate: £700 per day (Inside IR35)

The Role

• Work closely with a Data Scientist team to transform a prototype into a scalable redaction service suitable for operational use.

Skills Required

• Expert knowledge of Python, including front-end technologies such as CSS/HTML and frameworks such as react and angular.
• Expert knowledge of the relational model and database applications.
• Collaboration with internal teams to design, create and maintain software.
• Experienced in working with Agile methodologies, managing tasks and delivering the core functionality of an MVP in fortnightly sprints to validate product concepts.
• Experience of containerisation.
• Creating documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Working on pre-existing codebases.
• Improving the resilience and stability of software.
• Applying practices to enable continuous delivery.
• Experience of designing software that allows users to view and interact with documents (PDF, Word) or images is desirable.
• Experience of working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS.
