Freelance Estimator responsibilities

• Provide estimating support for our contract in Southern Water.
• Provide estimating support for bids and contracts, ensuring accurate pricing, effective risk management, and strong governance.
• Assist and advise the Senior Management Team on commercial risks and influences related to bids.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver accurate and timely estimates and cost data.
• Ensure supplier and subcontractor terms align with client requirements wherever possible and assess the impact of any deviations.
• Prioritise workload and support the team to deliver timely results that meet business requirements.
• Engage and influence key stakeholders, including customers and operational colleagues, on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop and implement process improvements based on identified needs to enhance performance.

Freelance Estimator requirements

• Proficient in Excel
