A healthcare organization in Hull and East Riding is seeking a band 5 Fracture Liaison Nurse to assess patients at risk for osteoporosis due to fractures. The successful candidate will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team and will be provided with full training. This is a 7-day role requiring some evenings and weekends. A unique opportunity has arisen for a nursing role within this falls and fracture liaison service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic band 5 nurse to join well-established fracture liaison service.
The service operates on a 7-day working pattern and there would be an expectation to contribute towards this including some public holidays and weekends. As a fracture liaison nurse, you will deliver the service to the local population of Hull and East Riding,
Your main duties will be to assess patients for osteoporosis risk who have acquired a fragility fracture. Throughout your role you will work with well-established supportive multidisciplinary teams and receive regular support and supervision. The falls and fracture liaison team is proactive in supporting professional development and the successful candidate will have access to a range of learning and training opportunities.
Direct fracture liaison experience may not be necessary as full training will be given.
