A regional construction firm in Liverpool is seeking a skilled FRA Joiner to conduct joinery and fire stopping works, including repairs and installations. Qualifications

• Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).
• Experience of working as a Joiner.
• Current driving licence is essential.
• Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card.
• Experience in social housing is desirable.

• Maintain and replenish vehicle impressed stock.
• Apply intumescent coatings to surfaces.
• Deglazing/ reglazing Fire Door Panels.
• Repair/ renew Timber and UPVC Window Frames.

Job description

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a FRA Joiner to join our team, to carry out Joinery and Fire Stopping works and FRA site safety assessments. Based in Liverpool and working on contracts in Salford when needed, you will be on a full-time, permanent basis. Working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP34,000. per annum with the opportunity to earn on target earnings, Company Van, Fuel Card Plus Excellent Benefits!

Your role:

Repairing/ installing Fire Resistant Timber Door sets. Deglazing/ reglazing Fire Door Panels. Repairing/ renewing Timber and UPVC Window Frames. Applying intumescent coatings to surfaces ensuring to complete works records. Maintain and replenish vehicle impressed stock

What we need from you

Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).Experience of working as a Joiner. Any experience gained within a social housing environment. Competent in all aspects of joinery trade discipline and with experience of maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, including high rise blocks for general repairs and refurbishments is desirable. Any firestopping experience is advantageous. A current driving licence is essential. Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and their own tools.
