Department Description

The Finance & Treasury function covers a broad spectrum of financial responsibilities for the Bank. Under the leadership of the CFO and the finance department heads, the team is responsible for equity raising and investor relations; treasury and liquidity management; prudential risk and regulatory reporting; and financial reporting, financial planning, and tax management activities.

Role Description

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the FP&A team in a rare role in industry. The individual will be involved and have exposure to a wide breadth of activities including business partnering, assisting in the monthly reforecast process, analysis of pricing and returns, delivery of key MI and production of regulatory documentation such as ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plans.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Supporting monthly and adhoc forecasting procedures across key product lines and channels for the Bank, ensuring accuracy and insight
  • Analysing performance and identifying Risks and Opportunities, preparation of variance analysis
  • Working with large data sets to provide analysis and insights
  • Assisting with production of monthly and adhoc reporting including professional standard PowerPoint presentations
  • Supporting Returns, Conversion & Price Sensitivity Analysis
  • Supporting Budget and Strategic plan cycles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and systems including automation
Personal Attributes & Experience
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or experienced Finance professional
  • Experience within Finance / FP&A
  • Strong analytical skillset, including the utilisation of Data and reporting tools
  • Advanced excel skills, ability to prepare professional standard PowerPoint decks and present analysis
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Confidence to work autonomously and be initiative-taking as required whilst working well within a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines effectively
  • Experience with Anaplan or other forecasting software desirable but not required
  • Experience with Power query and Power BI desirable but not required
