Fostering Social Worker
  • £38.43 per hour
  • South Wales
  • 37 hours p/w
  • Hybrid 2-3 days in the office
About the role

Working in the fostering team, successful candidate will be a qualified social worker with recent experience of fostering. The role is primarily dealing with duty queries in the office: placement finding, following up enquiries, liaising with agencies and the child's social worker in order to source the right placement for the child.

There is also the requirement to be flexible and undertake emergency viabilities or anything of an urgent nature which arises as part of the fostering duty requirement.

  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
  • Experience in Fostering teams
  • Completed relevant post-qualifying training
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and written skills
