The role involves installations and maintenance of forklifts, with travel across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forklift maintenance, excellent customer service skills, and a full UK driver's license. Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of Forklift Trucks and other Material Handling equipment looking to bring on an experienced forklift engineer to carry out installations of forklifts to clients across the UK and carry out PDIs at their site in Basingstoke. It is highly preferrable that candidates have strong backgrounds within forklift maintenance. The role will be highly customer facing so there will also be an expectation for the successful candidate to have good communication skills. They may consider backgrounds such as Commercial Vehicles or Plant equipment provided the individual shows the desire to pick up new products quickly. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Basingstoke. You must hold a full UK driver’s license, be willing to travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
