Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

Location: Nursling Industrial Estate

Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary (approx. 3 months)

Start Date: Monday 13th October

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 17:00; Friday 08:00 - 18:30. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a well-established warehouse team based in Nursling. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy operation during their peak period.

Applicants must hold a valid Reach, Bendi, or Counterbalance Forklift Licence and ideally have recent experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately booking in customer orders via the warehouse portal
• Picking and locating stock using the warehouse management system and RF scanners
• Preparing hotel and bar stock orders
• Loading and unloading trailers and containers
• Booking in landed orders returned from ships
• Scanning and processing documentation as per customer requirements
• Completing all paperwork to company standards
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager with day-to-day operations
