Overview

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The role involves operating a range of forklift equipment—PPT, VNA, counterbalance, and/or reach trucks—to support the movement, storage, and handling of furniture products. As our warehouse deals with large and heavy items, elements of manual heavy lifting will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate PPT, VNA, counterbalance, or reach forklifts to move, load, and unload stock.
• Pick, pack, and put away furniture items according to warehouse procedures.
• Assist with manual handling tasks, including lifting and positioning heavy products when necessary.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including safe handling procedures for heavy goods.
• Maintain accurate stock movements using scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and free of hazards.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence for one or more of the following: PPT, VNA, counterbalance, reach.
• Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience (preferred).
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy items as part of daily duties.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
