Job Summary:

This person will be the right hand of the VP of footprint expansion and airport licenses, helping her increase Swissport’s footprint globally across business lines.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prioritizing growth airports across the world for ground handling, cargo and lounges, including analysis of IATA and OAG data, and competition assessment
  • Identifying new warehouse opportunities through brokers, real estate developers and other partners
  • Assessing business cases vs CAPEX requirement and payback periods
  • Collaborating with regional teams to create good quality content to respond to airport tenders
  • Rallying the commercial and operational teams to provide good inputs for footprint growth (for example, organizing salesforce competitions)
  • Preparing short and crisp presentations for the Board of Directors, the Investment Committee, the Annual Station Manager Conference and other instances
  • Making sure we have oversight on all the existing operational licenses through salesforce, Power BI and other tools
Qualifications and Competencies:

Must have:

  • 2–5 years experience in management consulting or equivalent high-performance environment
  • Proven ability to build business cases (CAPEX, payback, sensitivity analysis) and produce clear recommendations
  • Strong structured communication (top‑down writing + exec‑ready slides)
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across commercial / operations / finance in a global matrix
  • Excellent English (written + spoken)
  • Ownership mindset ("get things done", proactive, reliable follow‑through)

Good to have:

  • Experience in aviation / airport services / ground handling / cargo
  • Additional languages: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese
  • Power BI / Salesforce experience (or strong BI curiosity)
  • Quantitative degree (engineering / economics / data)
  • Exposure to tenders, concessions, contracts, or bid management
