Are you a creative and passionate Food Technology Teacher with the ability to motivate students and make learning practical, engaging, and fun? Twenty4Seven Education is seeking an inspiring Food Technology Teacher to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 across one of our excellent partner secondary schools in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator who can bring Food and Nutrition to life, helping students develop essential life skills and prepare for their GCSE examinations.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Food Preparation & Nutrition following the National Curriculum
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for GCSE Food Technology examinations
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes creativity, independence, and healthy lifestyles
  • Plan and deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence in practical cooking and nutrition
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure achievement and growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Design & Technology department
  • Adhere to school safeguarding policies and procedures in line with DfE guidance
About You
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS with a specialism in Food Technology or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3-KS4 level
  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills
  • A passion for food education and helping students develop lifelong cooking and nutrition skills
  • The ability to engage, support, and challenge learners of all abilities
  • Both ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply
