Are you a qualified Food Technology Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity in Bristol?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a creative and enthusiastic supply Food Technology Teachers to work in secondary schools in Bristol from January 2026!

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Inspire pupils to develop essential life skills, creativity, and a passion for food, nutrition, and healthy living
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively within the Design and Technology department to uphold high standards of teaching and learning
Key Information:
  • January start date
  • Flexible work offered from 1-5 days per week
  • Working hours: 8.30am-3.30pm, weekdays only
  • Pay between 145-260 per day, depending on experience and role (to be discussed individually following your CV submission)
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Food Technology or related Design & Technology subjects
  • Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
