A local school in Guildford is seeking a self-motivated Food Service Assistant to join their kitchen team. This part-time role requires someone with a can-do attitude and preferably some experience with food preparation. The position offers flexibility of working hours, either 4 or 8 hours weekly, and is term-time only. Overview

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated Food Service Assistant with a can-do attitude to work within a small team in our on-site kitchen. Experience of food preparation and service would be desirable though training will be given.

Hours and Schedule

4 or 8 hours a week (1 or 2 days). One day must be a Friday.

10:15am – 2:15pm

Term time only (39 weeks)

Salary

4 hours, 1 day a week £2,326 (FTE £24,330)

8 hours, 2 days a week £4,651 (FTE £24,330)

Start Date

As soon as possible

Closing Date

9am, Wednesday 7th January 2026
