Overview

Wise Employment is recruiting a Food Production Planner for an established food manufacturing company in Callington, Cornwall. This is an on‑site permanent role working Friday to Monday 06:30‑16:30.

Responsibilities

As a Production Planner, you will drive operational excellence by directing and coordinating manufacturing processes to enable a smooth production flow. You will build daily, weekly and 7‑day production plans that optimise resources, capacity and cost, and liaise between departments to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • Previous planning or scheduling experience (preferably within food manufacturing)
  • Strong knowledge of planning methods, advanced Excel skills and planning systems (Aurora or System 21 desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
