Role:Food & Beverage Assistant
Location:Seaham Hall, County Durham

Salary:Up to £12.21 per hour,to be discussed at interview plus a share of service charge, approx. £2k a year for full time
Hours:approx. 30-40 hours a week, including weekends & bank holidays.
Relationships:General Manager, Kitchen team, Food & Beverage team

As one of the North Easts 5 red star hotels we are looking for friendly, trustworthy and motivated individuals to join our team in The Dining Room as Food and Beverage Assistants, with the option of part time and full-time hours available.

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, full training will be provided
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is deliveredconsistently
• Knowledge of Simphony/Oracle software is advantageous
• Ability to effectively interact with management, team members and guests in a professional manner
• Be a team player as well as an individual worker
• Due to location and shifts, transport is essential

Responsibilities

• To provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
• To assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
• To take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks etc.
• To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform
• Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to be able to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
