This role as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. The successful candidate will demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, compassion, and commitment to delivering excellent culinary services to the residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting residents with choosing their meal options, ensuring dining tables are set to standard, keeping the front of house clean and tidy, replenishing fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger food, and fresh fruit options, and being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
  • Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
  • Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
  • Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
  • Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
