Job description

Overview

FM Assistant – Band 2 – £12.51 per hour (£24,465 per annum pro rata) – Saffron Walden Community Hospital. 10 hours per week. Working Saturday and Sunday every week. Shift pattern: 07:30–13:30 or 08:00–13:00. This post includes Unsocial Hours Payments: Saturday – Time plus 41% of the salary; Sunday – Time plus 83% of the salary.

To participate in the provision of in-house FM services to a specified area within the Trust, which may include in-patient wards, admin/clinical areas and retail outlets.

The FM services comprise cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering services. Some services are unit specific, so sections of this job description may not be relevant to all staff and will be identified where appropriate but are not exhaustive.
