Salary: £ 13.65 / hour

Hours: 12 hours / day

Shift Pattern: 7 am to 7 pm

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift truck within a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team.
• Load and unload pallet trailers; load cardboard and plastic bales onto trailers.
• Sort, move and stack pallets.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties and provide support to the waste team.
• Comply with health and safety legislation and wear PPE at all times.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, you\'ll need a Counter Balance license and 3 months forklift operative experience is preferred. Communicative English is essential, and you may be required to take an English language assessment. You will need to have good organisational skills, be detail conscious, work from your own initiative and have excellent time management skills. You must be able to complete appropriate documentation and fall into the required shift pattern as deemed suitable to meet contractual requirements. You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.
