Job summary

A logistics company in Birmingham is seeking a motivated FLT Counterbalance Driver to operate equipment and manage warehouse duties. You will be responsible for safely handling goods and maintaining equipment, as well as overseeing stock levels and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The position offers £12.94 per hour, working Monday to Friday, with a temp-to-perm contract. Ideal applicants will possess a valid counterbalance license and strong attention to detail.

Location : Hams Hall, Birmingham

Pay Rate : £12.94 per hour

Duration : Temp-perm, ongoing

Shifts

Mon-Fri 10 :

00-18 : 00

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate counterbalance, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Stack and store materials in appropriate areas, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of reach trucks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid counterbalance certification / license.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Ability to operate counterbalance and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Goods in / out, stock checking experience
