Job description

Salary: £35,815 per year + 15% night shift premium. Grade: RCS M. Contract type: Permanent – Full Time. Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off. Night shift 18:30‑06:30. Location: Derby – DE74 2BB.

What You'll Do
  • Assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all flow room activities and staff performance.
  • Manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, monitoring operational workflow and automated equipment, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and maintaining standards of excellence.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety across the team and driving a Safety First Culture to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times.
  • Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar people management role within warehousing/supply chain.
  • Customer management experience is advantageous.
  • IT Literacy with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Start-up experience is desirable.
