A UK Medium sized design consultancy is seeking a Flood Risk Consultant in Greater London. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in flood risk assessment within both public and private sectors, working on diverse projects. Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in flood risk consultancy or related field.
  • Working towards or have obtained a Professional qualification.
  • Understand WINFAP and ReFH2 estimation handbook.
  • UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Produce Flood Risk Assessments (FRA’s) and drainage strategies.
  • Manage budgets and oversee projects.
  • Draft concise reports for other sectors.

Skills

Experience of producing FRA’s and drainage strategies
Experience with budgeting and project management
Can draft concise reports
Experience with 1D/2D hydraulic models
Understanding of Microdrainage / InfoDrainage, Tuflow, GIS

Education

Degree in Engineering or Geography
