SENse Learning is offering a unique opportunity for passionate teachers to make a real difference. Our SEND Tutor roles provide one-to-one support for the most in-need young people, across SEND specialisms, in homes, online, and in the community, using a trauma-informed approach.

These self-employed tutor roles offer flexible hours, competitive pay (£35–£45 per hour), rolling interviews, and strong pastoral support from a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed approach.
• QTS/QTLS status and commitment to safeguarding and child-centred education.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with a range of needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCP goals.
• Plan lessons, monitor progress, and report outcomes to families and schools.

Skills

Experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
