Job summary

DAF Fleet Services in Devizes is seeking a Customer Uptime Controller to ensure our customers’ fleets remain available and productive. You will support uptime, liaise with the dealer network, and manage VOR progress while coordinating with third-party partners.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in customer service, strong communication skills, and good IT literacy. Training and career development are available, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and competitive holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.
• Have a can do attitude and enjoy troubleshooting.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
• A high level of IT literacy and comfortable on the phone and using email.
• Be organised, resilient and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Experience in vehicle repair, fleet management, or the commercial automotive sector would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• The role includes managing the uptime of the customer fleet and building strong relationships with the DAF dealer network.
• You will oversee Vehicle Off Road (VOR) progress and escalate with third party partners as needed.
• Mitigate downtime and control costs through proactive liaison and issue resolution.
