Job summary

DAF Fleet Services in Devizes is seeking a Customer Uptime Controller to join our team. You will help keep our customers’ fleets on the road by actively managing uptime, coordinating with DAF dealer network, and guiding vehicles off road progress through to resolution.

The role offers a base salary of £30,000–£33,000 plus a quarterly bonus up to £1,500 (£6,000 per year) and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.
• Can-do attitude and enjoy troubleshooting.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
• High level of IT literacy and comfortable on the phone and using email.
• Be organised, resilient and able to work on your own initiative.
• Experience in vehicle repair, fleet management, or the automotive sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer uptime and keep fleets available, liaising with DAF dealer network.
• Oversee Vehicle Off Road (VOR) progress and escalate with third-party partners.
• Mitigate downtime through proactive liaison and issue resolution.
• Communicate with vehicle manufacturers over specifications or parts issues; monitor costs.
