Job summary

Major Recruitment Oldbury is recruiting for a First Line IT Support Engineer to join our Shirley based client at their Head Office. A valid driving licence is essential as visits to local offices may be required.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, with duties including end-user support for hardware and software, assisting the IT team and training users to improve system usage and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support to multiple users in a busy environment.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to train users and develop training materials.
• Willingness to liaise with third-party software suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support users on hardware and software issues.
• Assist IT network manager and work with the database administrator to enhance systems and user experience.
• Train new and existing users and develop training materials.
• Support IT developer and help prioritize tasks and projects.
