An international training centre in Darlington is seeking a Fireground Operative to assist with the day-to-day operations of fire training exercises. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational equipment is operable before training exercises.
  • Work in accordance with IFTC Policy and Procedures.
  • Provide fire training scenarios.
  • Liaise with instructional staff for effective delivery of exercises.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the fireground and associated buildings.
  • Report and repair defects within knowledge and capabilities.
  • Provide overtime cover as needed.
  • Wear appropriate PPE for training exercises.
