Fire & Security Service Engineer (Multi‑Skilled)

Location: Manchester & surrounding areas

Salary up to £39,000 (DOE)

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team in the Manchester area. This is a multi‑skilled role working across a portfolio of commercial properties, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault‑finding and minor remedial works on a range of fire and security systems.

You will be working on a variety of systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms, with full manufacturer training provided where required.

Systems Worked On

• CCTV
• Access Control (including Gallagher – training provided)
• Intruder Alarms
• Fire Alarm Systems (including Gent – training provided)

Previous experience with Gallagher or Gent is not essential, as full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and fault‑find fire and security systems
• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently
• Carry out routine testing and compliance checks
• Complete job reports and documentation accurately
• Provide a professional and customer‑focused service on site
• Work in line with industry standards and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer
• Multi‑skilled across fire and security systems
• Experience working in commercial environments
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
