Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a rapidly expanding asbestos company who offer a wide range of professional services to clients nationwide. Due to this expansion they are now looking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced Fire Risk Assessor to work for them on a variety of contracts in the Southend-on-Sea region. Applications from Basildon, Canvey Island, Wickford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE registered – or Fire trained‑NVQ levels.
  • Experience of undertaking fire risk assessments.
  • Will have a strong educational, technical, construction, fire service or consultancy background.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Key Role
  • Carry out Fire Risk and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in a variety of industry sectors including commercial, industrial and residential.
  • Undertake Fire plan drawings, fire drills, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings etc.
  • Deliver presentations to staff and clients.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
