In addition to core placement activities, you will

  • Serve as the primary broking contact, managing day-to-day client communications and ensuring a smooth client journey throughout the placement lifecycle.
  • Design and deliver tailored broking strategies that reflect client needs and current market conditions.
  • Negotiate terms and coverage with insurers in the London and international markets to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Management, Technical Support, Client-Facing Support, and Operations teams to drive seamless service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance value for clients through risk solutions, alternative placements, and innovation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the PI space, providing technical guidance internally and externally.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key insurer partners, leveraging market intelligence and influencing underwriter engagement.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance broking delivery, streamline processes, and shape WTW’s broader PI practice.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Professional Indemnity broking, preferably within the London market.
  • Excellent general insurance knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance market
  • Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work well in a team environment but also under your own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload and work to challenging deadlines.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • ACII qualified or interested in progressing with CII qualifications.
  • Proactive learning attitude — willingness to absorb technical PI knowledge, follow market developments, and gradually take on more responsibility
