Freightserve is seeking to recruit a Fine Art & Logistics and Project Manager for a niche sector freight company. The role involves working with high-value shipments, including fine arts and antiques.

Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Management: Coordinate end-to-end logistics for domestic and international fine art transport, oversee customs processes, track shipments, and ensure timely execution.
  2. Client Relations: Develop relationships with dealers, buyers, galleries, and auction houses; provide logistics solutions; prepare quotations; manage budgets.
  3. Operational Leadership: Supervise art handlers, drivers, and installation crews; manage complex moves and installations; ensure safety and quality standards.
  4. Auction House Account Management: Serve as logistics liaison for a UK auction house; coordinate auction installations and deinstallations; manage artwork intake, storage, and release.
  5. Innovation and Improvement: Stay informed on industry practices; identify operational improvements; drive service enhancements.

Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in fine art logistics and project management; strong knowledge of customs and international shipping; excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work under pressure; passion for art and client service.
