A growing business near Cambridge is seeking a Part-Time Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and manage accounting tasks. This hybrid role involves budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance, alongside Company Secretary responsibilities. Applicants should be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid communication skills. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Financial Controller to join a growing business based on the outskirts of Cambridge. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands‑on role responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with financial laws and regulations.
You will lead on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting (internal and external), and managing financial risk. Key responsibilities include:
In addition to the Financial Controller duties, the role also carries Company Secretary responsibilities. This includes advising the Board on corporate governance, legal compliance, and strategic matters, managing board meetings and shareholder communications, and ensuring all statutory filings are completed on time.
