Financial Controller

Based : Preston

Salary : up to £80k + bonus + benefits + progression

Exclusively working with a rapidly expanding PE backed business offering fantastic opportunity for a progressive FC / Head of Finance to join the team. Business are experiencing huge growth as they embark on their expansion journey, requiring a Financial Controller to join and have responsibility for all finance across 3 entities (including opening new & future acquisitions over the next few years).

This is an excellent role to oversee all financial operations, leading a team of 2 staff initially and acting as a key business partner to local MDs and supporting their strategic growth plans

Role
  • Oversee all management accounting, reporting, and control activities for 3entities
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis & performance commentary.
  • Partner with local Managing Directors and operational leaders to drive financial performance & margin improvement
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes for the region.
  • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll (external), and General Ledger.
  • Manage team of two to ensure timely and accurate production of transactional finance duties
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve automation, and enhance reporting
