Job description

An established online retailer based in Central London is now looking for a highly experienced Financial Controller to join the team. This is the number one role in finance, reporting directly to the MD with a dotted line to the Operations Director. Office-based 5 days a week.

Responsibility of the Financial Controller Role:

• Oversee the accounting function and manage a small, highly dedicated team of 3
• Monitor cash flow closely and produce reports for the Senior Management Team
• Oversee the sales and purchase ledger, month-end, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including income analysis, sales and group reporting
• Prepare budgets and liaise with stakeholders
• Manage year-end, liaise with auditors and ensure compliance
• Oversee stock and work with the MD on projects

Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified
• Experienced Financial Controller
• Strong staff management
• First rate financial and management accounts skills
• Excellent communication
