Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for a part-time role with flexibility, variety, and a close-knit team environment? We’re looking for a proactive Financial Assistant to support a small but busy finance team in Guildford.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundation in finance who enjoys working in a collaborative office setting. Whether you’re returning to work, balancing other commitments, or simply seeking a role with flexibility, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting day-to-day finance operations within the business
  • Preparing and managing sales invoices, receipts, and credit control tasks
  • Handling purchase invoices, employee expenses, and monthly payment runs
  • Keeping financial records accurate and up to date (bank and debtor reconciliations)
  • Assisting with the month-end process and external audits
  • Managing timesheets and supporting with reporting
  • General office admin and ad-hoc support as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • A solid foundation in finance or bookkeeping
  • Confident using MS Excel and Word
  • Familiar with accounting software (any platform)
  • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks independently
