Financial Accounting Manager £70,000

We re working with a market-leading organisation to recruit a talented Financial Accounting Manager to oversee reporting for a key business unit and play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making.

In this role you will:

• Deliver accurate, timely monthly management accounts and group reporting packs.
• Be the key contact for Group Finance and external auditors, leading audits with confidence.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team.
• Oversee purchase ledger operations, payroll checks, and ensure robust internal controls.
• Reconcile balance sheets, maintain fixed assets and lease records, and manage intercompany transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities with senior stakeholders.
• Lead process improvements and maintain strong financial governance.
• Assist with sustainability reporting and R&D tax claim preparation.

What we re looking for:

• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant.
• Strong financial and management reporting experience.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A proactive, detail-focused approach with the confidence to lead under pressure.
