Responsibilities

Our Client is seeking a Finance Officer to work within a busy and well-established finance team at a high-performing secondary school in Leigh-on-Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, supporting budget monitoring, maintaining accurate financial records and responding to supplier and staff finance queries in line with school procedures.

This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,350 students and benefits from strong internal systems, effective leadership and excellent operational structures that support both teaching and finance functions. The finance department works closely with senior leadership to ensure robust financial planning, compliance and long-term budget sustainability.
